Product and Experience Design
For digital, physical, and service experiences that need to be clear, useful, and well considered.
What you may need help with
- A product or service needs structure before it can be built or improved.
- A complex workflow needs to work for real people and real constraints.
- An experience needs to be made tangible enough to discuss, test, or produce.
What Misfit Island does
Misfit Island brings research, UX, product thinking, and production awareness together to shape experiences. Work may include experience architecture, journeys, concepts, wireframes, prototypes, content structure, interaction design, or validation with the people who will use it. At twoVee, this included helping build a second-screen companion platform that combined synchronized live-program content, participation, commerce, and audience analytics.
Product and experience design turns an idea, opportunity, or set of research findings into something a team can see, discuss, test, and build. The focus is on making choices visible early, when they are still inexpensive to change. A prototype can help leadership align around a direction, while a tested workflow can show where a service breaks down.
Typical engagement shapes
A defined design project, a research-to-design engagement, a prototype or working model, or embedded support for a product or creative team.
Let's talk about the work.
A short conversation can help determine whether this is the right kind of support and what a useful next step looks like.
